For those in the automotive industry, the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s trade show, more well known by its acronym SEMA, offers a glimpse at the future of automotive specialty products. With exciting reveals and show-stopping booths, this is one trade show that won’t disappoint exhibitors and attendees alike. When you’re looking to exhibit for the first time at SEMA or you are considering whether you should exhibit at SEMA again, we will walk you through the SEMA show and why it is an excellent trade show that is worthy of participation.
About SEMA
The SEMA show, which focuses on introducing new products for the automotive industry, takes place in November each year and is held at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last year in 2018, SEMA show brought more than 70,000 buyers, more than 2,400 exhibiting companies, and more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space. Within that space, the SEMA show offers five different exhibit halls focusing on different areas of the market. For example, they have a Performance Pavilion, which is dedicated to both featured exhibitors and first-time exhibitors. Combining newcomers and those who have already created a buzz creates a surefire recipe for success. Other exhibit halls at the trade show focus on collision repair and refinishing; racing and performance; trucks, SUVs and off-road; and finally, tires, wheels and accessories. The trade show concludes with a fun, laid-back cruise parade with 1,500 vehicles organized for an exciting, memorable sight to see. Certainly, this is the premier automotive trade show.
