Why Exhibit at World of Concrete 2020

For those in the commercial construction trades, and specifically the concrete and masonry industries, WOC (World of Concrete) is a renowned trade show. The upcoming show will take place in February 4-7th, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The multi-day conference offers plenty of chances to collect professional development certifications and continuing education credits, learn about new technology and equipment, and network with professionals in the industry from all over the country and the world. The 2018 World of Concrete show shattered attendance records and proved to be one of the largest shows of the past decade.

About World of Concrete

World of Concrete showcases original equipment manufacturers and the tools, products and equipment needed and used in the concrete and masonry industries. Beyond just getting to see what’s new, visitors are also invited to learn about new technologies, and distributors are able to see what new product lines they can offer their customers. At the time of publication, there were three confirmed featured demo exhibits, which include: MB Crusher America, which will be demoing two crusher buckets; OZTEC Industries, which will be demoing their patented Rebar Shaker®; and Ford Commercial Vehicles, which will be demoing the Ford Super Duty®. There is a wealth of knowledge that occurs at World of Concrete, and it is widely known as one of the most – if not the most – influential shows in the industry.

WOC by the Numbers

World of Concrete is a massive show with international attendance. The 2018 WOC featured 1,500 exhibitors on more than 700,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space. Last year also had record-breaking attendance with more than 60,000 industry professionals visiting the show. World of Concrete is also known for its philanthropic efforts. Since the show’s inception, World of Concrete with the support of its 18 leading concrete associations that cosponsor the show, has donated more than $13 million to support the industry. Additionally, WOC is involved with Concrete Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to helping industry and community members who are fighting cancer. The trade show also honors those who contribute to the industry and the community with a Legacy Award, and hosts the CIM (Concrete Industry Management) Silent and Live Auction, which is held in conjunction with WOC. World of Concrete also contributes to furthering the education of students with The Weatherton Award. This recognition award, which includes a $2,500 scholarship, is awarded to the student with the best industry paper. It is open to students enrolled in program universities including California State University (Chico), Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Texas State University.
