Ways lighting improves your display
Aesthetic lighting relates to light that adds visual interest or accents, but is not necessarily required. From a spot light on your logo, to wall wash lights, up lights and down lights, there are many ways to make your display more attractive. A small pop-up style display usually uses only four or five small arm lights pushing light down onto the backdrop. A large display typically uses a variety of lighting fixtures and elements to enhance features, graphics and branding elements.
Functional lighting relates to what is required to handle normal activity in your booth. Functional lighting helps you to see things, be able to write or handle tasks, etc. A small trade show display relies on the general convention center lighting for functional lighting. Large exhibits and displays often have meeting rooms and areas with overhead elements that block the venue’s general lighting. For larger booths you may need strip lights, recessed flood lights, table or floor lamps.
